A core value of my practice is the importance I place on the relationship between parent/caregiver and child. In light of this, I offer direct support for parents/caregivers. This can be in parallel with treatment for your child or as a stand alone service. I also facilitate co-parenting counseling for those parents who would like a dedicated space to fine-tune their parenting strategies, to get on the same page as partners or become more consistent across different households. Regardless of your family structure, composition, or diversity – you are welcome in my practice. I work with families from diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds, consider myself an ally to LGBTQ families, as well as being a neurodiversity affirming therapist.

As a parent myself, I understand and empathize with how overwhelming the process of becoming the parent you want to be can be and indeed, how parents can easily lose themselves in all the different parenting advice out there. My aim in supporting parents is to help you come to a place where you feel authentically you in your relationship with your child. No two children are alike and accordingly, no two parents are alike. The relationship between parent and child is one that is ever changing and growing.

Parenting the Neurodivergent Child

I offer help for parents looking to understand the Neurodivergent perspective, by supporting strength-based parenting strategies to help parents connect more deeply with their Neurodivergent child. I aim to provide a compassionate, empathetic and judgement-free approach, meeting you where your family is at and helping you feel secure in your parenting approaches. I foster a safe-place to learn about how connection and understanding of our children can guide us towards helping them navigate and grow confidently into the world.
